This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our Service, and the choices you have associated with that data. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

4. Advertising and the Google Advertising ID
The app shows advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks. These networks use the Google Advertising ID (AAID) to deliver relevant ads, perform frequency capping, and measure ad performance.
You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertising at any time from your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization”.
5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR — EU/EEA/UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing your personal data are:
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for personalized advertising and non-essential analytics. Collected via the Google User Messaging Platform consent form on first launch.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for non-personalized advertising, security, fraud prevention, and basic crash reporting.
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) — when required by law.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are an EU/EEA/UK resident, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured format
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To withdraw your advertising consent at any time, the app exposes a “Privacy Settings” option that re-displays the consent form. You may also reset your choice from your device settings.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at: support@wallpapergallery.net
7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, under the broad CCPA definition, sharing data with advertising partners for personalized ads may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing”.
To opt out: use the “Privacy Settings” option inside the app to disable personalized advertising, or email us at support@wallpapergallery.net with subject “CCPA Do Not Sell”.
8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@wallpapergallery.net and we will delete the information.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Crash logs: up to 90 days
- Analytics data: up to 14 months (Firebase Analytics default)
- Advertising data: managed by each ad network per their own policy
- Push subscription tokens: until you uninstall the app or disable notifications
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. Where required by law, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or by other appropriate safeguards.
11. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via the in-app privacy settings. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
